Impossible to get an appointment. Have to ring up as soon as the lines open and compete for an appointment. Once they're gone for that day, your turned away to try compete the following day. I have rang 5 days in a row and been unsuccessful at getting an appointment. My issue needs addressing but is not urgent and could wait a week or so to be seen. Asked to be booked in for a later date, they won't. Just have to ring and hope for a same day appointment. I can't take a same day appointment as I would need to give my employer notice to arrange cover for me whilst I attend either in person or phone. I informed receptionist of this and she couldn't of cared less

Suggested improvements
Not everyone can attend at a drop of a hat. Offer bookable appointments for the days and weeks ahead.

I have recently seen two GPs for two different issues. I felt extremely happy with the outcome of the appointments and felt hopeful about receiving support. Since then, both GPs have failed to follow up as promised and outcomed appointments/test results as no further action. One GP has documented incorrect information and support which I specifically did not agree to within the appointment.

Suggested improvements
Your GPs need to complete the actions as agreed with their patients in the appointments. Why involve a patient in a plan and mutually agree actions and not do this? Information documented (which can be seen by patients on the NHS app!!) should accurately reflect what was discussed in the appointment.

Appointments can sometimes be hard to get when you call first thing in a morning, but have the option of doing an econsult, which i personally prefer to do, and a doctor always gets back to me. Never had an issue in all the years I’ve been with the practice.

The Surgery needs to have appointments available to those of us that work. I work for the NHS and work every day of the week, so calling at 8 o'clock in the morning during handover is no good, as well as attending an appointment day of. Need to plan to get time off to go. I also don't like a doctor asking me what they think I need or should be done. I wouldn't be there if I had a medical degree....that's why I go to the professional??

Just have appointments that we can Book, instead of this first call first serve system, for those who actually do work.
